Fauna and Flora

FAUNA AND FLORA

The Historic Farm Hotel Dona Carolina is surrounded by an Atlantic Forest Environmental Conservation Area that maintains almost intact the local fauna and flora. This integration with nature has more than 80 native plants’ species and a rich amount of birds and other animals.

Guans, toucans, woodpeckers, seriemas and howler monkeys live side by side with camellias – symbol of the Brazilian abolitionist movement – and centenary trees. All this just by opening your room window. A unique experience!
